Glendale 115 kV Tap Replacement Project

Park County, Wyoming (2014)

Client: ERO Resources for Western Area Power Administration

Role: Rocky Mountain Paleo Solutions performed a paleontological existing data analysis and field survey of the project area including the TAP site and access road, both which cross fossiliferous bedrock of the late Jurassic and early Cretaceous Cloverly Formation. No fossils were found during the field survey, but a number of significant fossil localities have been documented in the immediate vicinity. The field survey and existing data analysis results were compiled in a technical report which was submitted to WAPA and the BLM. Due to the high paleontological sensitivity of the area, Rocky Mountain Paleo Solutions also monitored ground disturbing activities during project construction.
